Students Raise Money for Concession Stand

FCCLA students Kobe Spiess, Macy Lemar, and Colten Weisner started a fundraiser for the school's concession stand. They made popcorn in different flavors and sold them in the library for 50 cents. Some of the flavors included: Cookies and Cream, Pizza, Cheddar Cheese, and Their goal was to raise enough money to purchase a new popcorn machine for the concession stand. They raised 350, but they also entered in a contest. The contest took every school that entered in the United States and they pick 3 winners. Macy, Colten, and Kobe placed 3rd! They received an extra $1,000 in reward money. This gave Jenny Hovis (Concession supervisor) and the school concessions $1,350 dollars to spend on a new popcorn machine. Congratulation to these students and all the students who helped out!
