REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR PLAINVILLE USD 270
CONSTRUCTION MANAGER AT RISK
Public notice is hereby given, pursuant to the Kansas Unified School District Alternative
Delivery Building Construction Procurement Act, Sections 9-14 of Chapter 148, 2008
Kansas Sessions Laws, that USD 270, Plainville Public Schools is soliciting
qualifications for Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services for capital
improvements and construction work on District facilities. More detailed information
about the request and submittal requirements are available upon request by email or

Qualification are due no later than Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 12:00 pm CT.
The School Board will be employing a three-step, qualifications-based, selection
process to select a Construction Manager at Risk for their proposed projects. Phase I
includes the solicitation and review of a Qualifications Statement from interested firms to
determine a short-list of no less than three and no more than five qualified firms to
proceed to Phase II. An announcement of the short-list of firms awarded to proceed to
Phase II and requested to submit Proposals and Interview will be made on July 17,
2026.
